123: Half empty glass of water

It been more than 3 weeks since I started with my full time job at Cempaka. Although my job post is music instructor, but I haven't being assigned to any classes. It's because all the full time staffs are involved with the musicial they are doing this year. It will be performed in the middle of next month. I'm currently playing Alto Saxophone and some minor Clarinet part. Funny that the instrument that I'm used to play is Tenor Saxophone and I'm playing totally different instruments here. It's a good learning experience. Next week onwards we are going to rehearse in the Hall.

By the way, I will be expected to teach Clarinet in the school after we finished with the musical. So, I'm learning up Clarinet at the same time now. And everyone is concerned with me travelling so far everyday using public transport. Now, I really need to buy a car. With my current salary, I can afford to buy one in 2 months time. But... what should I buy? A lot of my friends suggested Myvi, and a few of them said Viva. I definitely need more than RM5000 for a Myvi. Because if I'm getting a Myvi, I want the cd player in the car is able to play music from USB. Yes, Myvi is spacious, heavier, harder and looks cooler, but... if I'm buying the new one, it takes some time for it to arrive here, and my big bro just told me that usually the first batch is not that good. And then, one of my colleague said the Viva is more stable and smaller, meaning it's easier to park.
So I don't know...

Let's wait for next month then I'll decide.
For now, I have to rely on the public transport and other people a lot. I don't like it..

Today, I just came back from the rehearsal for the KL Youth Jazz Orchestra. We are still a small group currently. What I experienced in the rehearsal today doesn't make me feel very good. I've been told about my tone again. Have to get a better mouthpiece... I have been saying that for more than 2 years and I haven't be able to do anything about it. Life been so tough... especially when you're a musician and when your country is not keen in supporting arts. All they want is money, censorship and superiority.
Anyway, I also need time to practice my saxophone, but I don't have any time to do that! After work, I'm tired and sometime I need to teach piano at night. And what I'm earning is not really enough to spend on my saxophone. I need a good mouthpiece, good reeds, saxophone stand, saxophone case, and in the end, a better saxophone. Or I will be needed to buy clarient for teaching purposes...

Life is tough and sad.. It's tougher when you are not able to meet with your loved ones. I've been so busy recently, I work full time on weekdays and saturdays I have to teach piano, and then sunday I have rehearsal with the jazz orchestra... No time to spend with Max. Both of us are quite bitter on this.. I'm hoping that after I get my car, I'll be able to drive to his place and meet him more often. Or hopefully I can join up a gym with him and both of us workout together, it will be great.

However, for now, I'm stuck in between a rock and a hard place. Hopefully time that flows in between, can save me.
Life is nothing but always a half-empty glass of water.
