It's really been a long time since I updated my blog. I guess I was busy with helping out other's Graduation Recital and I didn't have much time to write.
Well, I finished my insternship, along with the requirement essays and what not, except that the lecturers need to go visit me and talk to me and my supervisor, Mr. Leonard about the internship. I'm expecting it to be this week, but I just heard that Mr. Justin is having a holiday or something. I heard that he cancelled all his classes tomorrow. Oh gosh, I want to get it finished! Hmm, at the same time, I'm starting to miss College/University life. The classes, the classmates and so on.
I guess I just need to move on and start looking for job now. Hopefully I get a good one. I don't know what to expect though. I'd do anything to get my monthly income above 1000. (Yea, I know it's a little low but I've been living with less than 500 a month for the past 5 years! Except when I was working as a tutor. ^^;;)
Graduation Recital were fun and hectic at the same time. Imagine I was helping every single of them in the last day. I had to change my cloths for every single show. At least, some of it is fun. I've seen the most creative Graduation show in my whole enrollment in UCSI. It's Ai Jia's grad. I had been working with her on the duet for the Japan Concert performance, and she told me she wanted to perform one of the song in her grad. Sure why not? Throughout the time, she did show me the piano solo piece she's working on - The Sesame Street Theme (actually a Theme and Variations). It's an exciting arrangement on the theme. Aside from that, she showed me how her programme notes look like. And everyone told her that it's too plain. Printing on A4 pages and black and white only. It's... dull.
Until on that day itself, her assistant, Hooi Ching plugged the computer to the projector and a video begun to play when the show starts. It is a puppet hosting the show. Immediately I tell myself, "Wow, this is the first time anyone would do like this in their grad!" And the slide show that go along with the Sesame Street, it made a lot of audience laugh (in a good way). Well, everyone had a lot of fun watching her show. It's really fun! She may not be the best pianist, but she succeed in showing her creative ideas! Well done!
(plus, she gave everyone involved in helping her a Pudding + sweets + thank you note. Yes, everyone. And it was DELICIOUS!!! Next time, whenever there's a chance, I'd collaborate with her without second thought. No, not for the pudding, it's because she's creative! XD)
Derene's grad were quite fun as well, as she focus on broadway musical style more. So, there's a lot of acting involved. Linet's last minutes is quite alright as well.
After all the shows, I finally got a time that I could do anything I want. So, I meet up with Max quite a lot. I'm feeling we are closer and closer more and more. Although he can't visit me because of the 49 days rule, that doesn't stop me meeting him at various places. However, I just want him to finish his final project and start working out. I don't want him to have any excuse for it. I like the way he is, but I don't want him to continue on.. expanding. He changed a lot from the first time I see him. Mmm, talking about him makes me miss him very much.
By the way, I told my mom about me and Max, and she doesn't seems to be bothered about it. Until now, she didn't even bring it up and try to change me. However, I don't really know how she really feels about it. Well, you never know.
Now, it's May. I shall start working on more composition, practice more, draw when I don't feel like doing those I mentioned, and go to the gym more. And stop sticking in front of the computer so much. Facebook is getting boring. I just use it to check out status and updates and communicate with the Japanese Concert team.
Tomorrow I shall send in my resume to the companies... hopefully I get employed well.
